Credit Policy
A plain-English summary.
What credits are for
Credits are app access tokens. Removers spend them to send offers on listings. The credit cost of an offer depends on the agreed pickup payment — bigger payments cost more credits. They aren't cash and have no cash value outside the app.
How credits move
- Held: when you send an offer, the credit cost is reserved (not spent). Your available balance drops temporarily.
- Consumed: when the poster accepts your offer, the credits are debited from your balance.
- Released: if your offer is rejected, cancelled before acceptance, or expires (after 7 days), the held credits return to your available balance automatically.
Refunds
- Credits are generally non-refundable once purchased.
- Exceptions: technical errors or payment processing errors. If you believe a charge or credit grant didn't work correctly, file a report.
- Stripe charges aren't reversed by Gonezo automatically. Refund decisions involving real money go through admin review.
If a deal goes wrong after acceptance
If you accepted an offer or had your offer accepted and the deal fell apart afterward (a no-show, item not as described, etc.), credits are not automatically refunded. Use Report a problem on the listing or in your Activity. An admin may manually grant credits after review, depending on what happened.
Starter credits
New removers receive 3 starter credits when they first pick the remover role, granted once per account.
This is a plain-English summary. The credit and refund process may evolve as the platform grows.
